Summer camp jobs
Thank you for your interest in joining the Camp Pinewood staff this camping season. We attribute our success in camping over the years to attracting a superior staff of conservative young men and women and in providing a modern campus with top-notch activities.
In recruiting our counselors, Pinewood seeks individuals who realize the importance of being proper role models—positive individuals of even temperament who are energetic, flexible, patient, sensitive and fun loving.
If you are looking for a gratifying, exciting and memorable camping experience, we truly hope you will be selected to join us this summer.
Please note that all applicants for all positions except infirmary assistants, cooks’ assistants, and dining room assistants must have completed their freshman year of college as of June 2013.
Note that we do not permit:
- Excessively long hair, eccentric hairstyles, beards, mustaches and earrings in Boy's Camp.
- Body piercing other than females’ ears.
Cabin Counselors:
June 11-August 12

Nights off average about every other evening until 1am curfew. There are six days off during the 8-week camp session.
The scale of wages listed below is for the full camping season and includes room, meals and laundry! Each cabin counselor's exact compensation is based upon qualifications, travel distance and gratuities. Applicants will receive detailed information at the time of interview. If you are unable to attend the full summer, half session employment is a possibility.
Additional income can be earned for pre-camp clean-up if you are able to arrive between 5/13 and 6/1...the pay is $325 per week.
